"Home Office UK Border Agency" approached Cobelfret advising that exact cargo weight and description is considered as compulsory information on the ships manifest for all cargo arriving on British soil.

Therefore, with immediate effect, on every booking has to be indicated:

- The correct weight of the goods being carried;

- Exact type of cargo. Goods descriptions such as "General cargo" or brand name are not acceptable and units loaded with "Groupage" need to be accompained by a "Groupage manifest/packing list" enabling the UK border to verify the cargo;

- The number and type of packaging.

Without these info Cobelfret will not be able to register the booking.

In case of information not correct Cobelfret will recharge to the customers any penalty/fines imposed by the UK Border Agency.
